About me
Isha Renta is a Physical Scientist for NOAA's Weather Program Office (WPO). Prior to joining WPO, Isha was a Management and Program Analyst at the Office of Science Support leading the NOAA Science Council and R&D Enterprise Committee teams. While there, Isha served as the advisor to the NOAA Chief Scientist during a temporary opportunity. Previously, Isha served as a Meteorologist for the National Weather Service Baltimore/Washington Office and a Research Meteorologist at the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Dahlgren, VA. Isha interned at various organizations before her federal service including the National Science Foundation, NOAA's Hurricane Research Division, and Environmental Modeling Center. Isha has a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Puerto Rico - Mayagüez and a Master's Degree in Atmospheric Sciences from Howard University.
